Today I Loaded My Kindle With…
Reference books. It’s just one of those days with a lot of good, free nonfiction on subjects that interest me. Other than that, I picked up a dessert book with attitude, a recipe book for tea parties, a YA fantasy novel and a father/son memoir.

The Bookie’s Runner
‘The Bookie’s Runner’ is the gorgeously, hypnotically told tale of Brendan Gisby’s father, Derry, and his dream of the big win on the horses, the one that would relieve his adored family of poverty and redeem him in the eyes of his angry and disappointed wife. Motivation stimulates your greatness. When you zone in on your true motivation, you will feel a surge of energy from within. It is addictive and you will refuse to let go of it. When you tap into your own natural source of motivation, it will feed on itself and you don’t need outside factors to constantly replenish it.
