Today I Loaded My Kindle With…
Collections. I’ve noticed that some independent authors have been publishing their novels as serials. The one I listed here caught my eye because it was written and published by a teenage boy, Logan Rutherford. I read the first page of “Runner” and I liked his voice. From what I read of the reviews, the serial gets progressively better in terms of writing. I’m intrigued. Plus, I’d like to support a young writer.
I also picked up a cookbook that is three in one. “Ultimate Paleo Collection” is all about eating like a caveman. Hmm. From what I can see, they have discovered fire, so it’s not all roots and berries. I’m not so into the low carb thing, but I am intrigued by the concept and would like to take a look. It is a little hard to imagine hunter-gatherers eating appetizers, but what do I know?
I also loaded up on more Top Sights city guides. While I’m loving me the European cities, I wouldn’t mind seeing some guides to other parts of the world. Then again, we’re talking freebies, so I shouldn’t complain.
